Egyptian Society of Radiology & Nuclear Medicine ‘ESRNM’

The Egyptian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine is considered one of the oldest Egyptian medical societies.
The Board of Directors of the Society consists of 15 members who are chosen by election, A member of the Board of Directors is required to have a doctorate degree or to have a professorship title.
The association works to serve the Egyptian community in the medical and health field and to achieve national projects related to the medical and health field in cooperation with the concerned authorities. The Egyptian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine takes upon itself the role of defending the rights of radiologists from the encroachment of other specialties on the specialty of radiology, as well as the role of training and qualifying radiologists and technicians by establishing many educational scientific activities throughout the year, such as scientific conferences and Egyptian radiology schools, where the Egyptian Society of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine organized two scientific conferences and 8 training courses under the name of the Egyptian School of Radiology throughout the year for the purpose of training radiologists and radiologic technicians and qualifying them, exchanging ideas and knowing the latest developments and modern methods, training doctors, exchanging experiences, discussing research and putting forward proposals.

ESRNM Objectives

Work to serve the Egyptian community in the medical and health field and achieve national projects related to the medical and health field in cooperation with the concerned authorities.
– Adopting, applying and publishing the behaviors and ethics of the profession and ensuring health quality.
– Paying attention to human development for all elements of performing medical work.
– Documenting ways of acquaintance and cooperation between Egyptian doctors and their colleagues at the local, Arab, regional and international levels.
– Providing the opportunity for doctors to continue research and study, while developing relations with academic, research and medical authorities, and providing ways to disseminate medical research.
– Developing specifications for qualitative and specialized training programs by categorizing the capabilities of physicians.
– Continuing medical education is a horizon and a future, and the talk of it, the renewal of medical culture, and the addition of modern ideas to it.
– Raising the efficiency of radiology doctors and technicians in all medical specialties through direct training, such as holding scientific conferences, courses and training courses, which has a great impact on the development of the medical system and is directly reflected in the health of the individual and society.
– Ensuring the development of medical culture among radiologists and technicians.
– Intellectual exchange between all medical workers.
– Defending the rights of radiologists from the infringement of doctors of other specialties on radiology
